Cianjurpedia.com - Upacara penghargaan Golden Globe Awards 2023 telah selesai digelar di The Beverly Hilton, California, Amerika Serikat, pada Selasa, 10 Januari 2023 pukul 8 malam waktu setempat atau Rabu, 11 Januari 2023 pukul 08.00 WIB.
Golden Globe Awards 2023 yang disiarkan langsung melalui saluran televisi NBC dan Peacock ini, dipandu oleh Jerrod Carmichael yang merupakan seorang komedian kulit hitam.
Pada malam penghargaan tersebut, Cate Blanchett berhasil meraih Best Actress Motion Picture - Drama melalui film yang berjudul "Tar". Sementara Best Actor Motion Picture - Drama berhasil dibawa pulang oleh Austin Butler dalam film yang berjudul "Elvis".
Kemudian Steven Spielberg melalui film yang disutradarainya yang berjudul "The Fabelmans", berhasil memenangkan Best Director - Motion Picture. Ini merupakan kali ketiga sang sutradara memenangkan nominasi ini.
Selanjutnya film "Abbott Elementary" berhasil membawa pulang 3 penghargaan, mulai dari Best Musical/Comedy Series, Best Television Actress - Musical/Comedy Series yang diraih oleh Quinta Brunson, serta Best Supporting Actor - Television Series yang dimenangkan oleh Tyler James Williams.
Begitu pula dengan "The Banshees of Inisherin" yang juga membawa pulang 3 penghargaan melalui Best Picture - Musical or Comedy, Best Actor Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy yang diraih Colin Farrell, Best Screenplay - Motion Picture yang diraih oleh Martin McDonagh.
